Ok. My situation is tricky because I work for my husband's parents. They own three moderate sized companies. They also allegedly plan on retiring in about 2 years and turning over their businesses to my husband and his brother. I do the payrolls, bill paying/receiving/creating, insurance, all government related tasks like W-2's and quarterly reports, all human resource related tasks...ok basically I do everything for them. I didn't used to be in this position.

Have you ever noticed that there is something very very wrong with the world? not just in work, but in practically every aspect of life....

Like for instance there is my brother inlaw(through my brother and his wifes marriage)who acts just like quagmire from family guy, he pulls women all the time without any hassle..and he is a skinny runt, he has a red rash all over his face, he's only 24 but his skin looks like its about 50 years old....he is the biggest tosser you have ever met, he absolutely loves himself and boasts about random crap...

There are basically 2 kinds of companies. The first type is the company that doesn't give a shit whether its employees are miserable or happy. In their minds, the employees are getting paid and that's all that matters. So the employees should just be happy happy happy! They should STFU and do their work until it's time to go home. Oh and they must not whine about putting in extra time either. This company provides only the very basic benefits (if any benefits at all), has an uncomfortable, unhealthy work environment and is full of, yeah, miserable people.
