I hate my job, i dont understand why corporate america is so set on hourly wages. I bust my ass all day and get done in 4hrs what it would take most people 8hrs to get done. Yet still i get no appriciation from my peers no promotions. I ask for a raise every year and never get it. Last year my boss told me i would be getting a promotion to unit manager. I got the promotion thinking it came with a big raise. I got one doller more an hour and was told i am salary now. SOOOO now i am doing the same job not managing shit and now they can work me over 40 without paying me anything extra.
