So, the boss is out and I went snooping into the boss's files. What I found:
-a file on everyone with examples and lists of reasons NOT to give raises, promotions, etc. EXECPT, the Ass-Kisser's file was lacking these lists and examples. Exactly what I thought.

-Foung out that the Jerk who thinks I'm his personal secretary makes a lot more $ than me.

-Saw that the boss makes $100,000, plus bonus (and probably gets a car allowance, too, but didn't see any proof of that in there). Meanwhile, I am busting MY chops to do all of the Boss's reports and I don't see a penny of raise coming. I AM GOING TO KILL MYSELF DOING THE BOSS'S SHIT ANYMORE. That's it. I am going the apathy route until I find a position that pays more.

Had the best day in ages. Roller coaster riding is great therapy. Give it a try.

I think my plan for escape is working. I picked up another little side job. I am finishing up one gig and have a regular side job as a teacher, but the teaching thing is kind of sporadic. So, this new little gig will expand my portfolio just a little more and bring in some extra dough (and at the same rate as if I was being paid hourly at my crappy Hell job right now). Slowly but surely, I will make my escape. Let's hope that everyone else on this board catches a break, too. Take Care everyone.

So, I know that the Gossip and the Jerk at my work were scheming something and were about to "tell on her" whomever that is. I didn't find out who yet. So, I started thinking about it.

What if it is me? What could they possibly tell on? They could tell the boss that I said that I said that he/she never charges bills back to the departments that should pay them and therefore the money comes out of MY operating budget. But, not being a pussy, I have told the boss about this issue already.

They could tell the boss that I hated the fucking flowers they gave me A DAY AFTER admin appreciation day. 1)flowers are for your fucking wife, not your admin. 2)I fucking hate wilty-ass, day old sloppy seconds gifts. 3)the giving was a day late. 4) they gave the other admin the pretty fresh flowers and me the shitty, wilty ones. 5)I NEED FUCKING MONEY YOU MORONS. I NEED FUCKING $50 WILTY ASS FLOWERS LIKE I NEED A GOD DAMNED WART ON MY ASS. If they are going to fire me for saying out loud that I fucking hated their belated gift, then go a-fucking-head and fire me.

Don't want to get too detailed for fear of the bosses finding this.

So, I came to this company after one of the recent Hurricanes. Obviously, I didn't really want to be here. I wanted to be back home at my old pre-hurricane job make my little bit of money and living a relatively peaceful, happy life.

Ok, so I am here now and trying to make this job work, but I am surrounded by liars, cheats and jerks. I work so hard every day to try to make these people happy and I just can't seem to achieve that.

Here are some examples of the ethically shady/ lying behaviour:

-The lady on the other side of my cube wall says hateful things about EVERY person who works in the company. Someone will walk into her cube. Then, she and that visitor will say horrible things about someone and then after the visitor leaves, the lady on the other side of the wall will call someone to say hateful things about the person who just left her cube. This lady also walks around and chit chats with people all day long to avoid work and then tells the boss that she "didn't have time to finish that report." She does this ALL DAY EVERY DAY. And the boss is fucking clueless about it. In fact, the boss gave the gossip a PROMOTION!
