So, I have been laid off for a few months now. I came to the conclusion that I was not going back, but due to financial circumstances I may have to go back to my long commute and boring ass job. I really don't want to go back. Just thinking of sitting in traffic for 45 minutes or more one way just makes me cringe. Then when I get to work, I have to sit for the whole time I am there, then I sit in traffic again on my way home. What the life I am going to have. I guess I will not be stressed about how to make the bills.

I have been in the same career for a very long time, and I hate it. I have tried to get out of it by buying my own business, but I didn't make enough money to make a living, so I had to go back to what I did before. If you could change what you are doing for a living, or you are in your perfect job what would it be?

Hello, this is my first time here. I just need to express how much I hate my job. I am a contract worker for a large company. I only I enough work to keep me busy for about 4 hours a week. So I try to stretch it out for longer. All day long I surf the internet, but that is getting so boring. I have to drive approximately 30 miles each way to do nothing all day. I have been doing this for about 1 1/2 years. There are times when I am busy, but that has not happen in months. The reason I do stay is that I get paid very well, and my contract ends in December, and then hopefully I can get unemployment until I find something that I enjoy doing.
