Fuckwad is trying to fire me, but I QUIT!!!

So after my desk has been turned around to face a fucking wall because my productivity is down (mind you, this is after he yells at me and nitpicks me for stupid bullshit on a daily basis), he comes in today telling me that he has TWO people coming in for interviews for my position, and that he needs me to have applications ready for them. He tells me that I've been falling behind, and that I either need help or I'm not being productive enough. What bullshit! I've been working my ass off lately. Yeah, I've been looking for another job during company time and when he's not around, but when there's a lot of work to do, trust me, I buckle down and focus on what I have in front of me. I do my job search when there's time in the day to do it.

This is the same person who shreaded my timesheet because I came in early so that we weren't behind.
This is the same person who kept me here doing little bullshit tasks during the Thanksgiving holiday.
This is the same person who insults my intelligence every day he can.

This is the same person who's getting ready to get fucked, because I QUIT!!!

I stayed here because I was worried about money for rent, food, whatever. I don't give a shit anymore. I rather pack up and move back home than to deal with this bastard. I rather deliver packages in the freezing rain than deal with this bastard. I FUCKING QUIT!!!!

Today when I leave, when he says "See you tomorrow," I'll gladly say, "No, you won't!"

I prayed to God to give me a sign as to when it's time for me to leave and how to leave. I was going to set up another job and give Fuckwad one week notice. But I see that's not the way I need to go.

I QUIT...TODAY!!!

I just quit my job without notice and it turned out well. I got a higher paying job and the people seem much friendlier. I was stressed for a week, I handed out resumes last Friday, had 2 interviews on Saturday, I was offered a job on Monday. It's stressful finding a new job, but it is more stress to work under an asshole! Keep your chin up!

Everything will be fine and you'll be happier. Congrats on being free of that cocksucker. I once had a manager who expected me to train my replacement AFTER I quit and called me home at home to scream because I wouldn't come in.

When I was a young naif of 18, I had a former employer call me 2 weeks after I had given my 2 weeks notice and threaten me that if I wasn't there, I would be given a bad reference and never work again. Being young and stupid, I fell for it. I went in to work with the worst hangover of my life! Chalk it up to experience. There are some real unscrupulous employers out there.

I walked out of my job

I had worked many hours over without pay and been there every day while others loafed off and called in sick for days. He came in my office and said they were merging with another company and by the way I have been reading your emails (no company policy or hand book on emails, everyone sends them) and he read some personal letters I had received and was fixing to mail out. He had no right to read my personal stuff. I cried and walked out. I had been sick for 5 yrs working there and could not walk and thought I had everything wrong with me. After 4 days of walking out, no pain and I am so happy. The only problem is my state may not give me unemployment since I walked out. He harrassed me and I have rights too. Any ideas?
