Hate Your Job? Then Quit...If you hate your job so much then quit or learn to love it. Maybe you should learn to kiss a little butt or something or do the unthinkable, you know, actually work. Crybabies. I am really into my job, I dive into it head first. But then again, I make lots of money and have some great perks. Anyway, I am just giving you all a bit of advice, quit crying about how bad your jobs are and give your boss a little respect and maybe they will reward you like mine has. I love my boss, she is great!! tell you what you have a winner. Love it sherish it treat your job like gold because you will not find another one like it.. the limo is the bomb try to get head in it if you can that be the shit.. sorry i'm kind of fucked up ready to get more fucked up fucking a buddy i love my life, or hate it too, but that's live... Bryan If your life is so great why do you keep coming back here? You are no inspiration. [Moderator] Why do I keep coming back here? Because I enjoy reading about your misery and how you people whine and cry about how bad your jobs are and how your boss is the root of all evil. Sorry folks, but if you are all so talented why not open your own business or get a job somewhere else where you will be appreciated? You all sound like idiots crying about your jobs. If it is so bad that you have to write post after post about how bad it is then quit. Your company and/or boss doesn't own you. So either learn to live with it or hit the road. Everyone of you sound like morons crying and complaining when you are free to hit the door at anytime. I don't want to hear the excuses that you are already have brewing, you have options. Like I said learn to live with it in someway or quit. It isn't that hard. Not everybody loves their jobs. It seems like their are probably 5 kinds of posters to this board. They are: 1) Those who work, but have some one they can't stand working around them, 2) Those who have worked hard to get to where they are...and then find out they wasted their time ever trying, 3) those who excersized sound judgment, but made an error, 4) those who throw judgment to the wind and end up making very eggregious mistakes, and 5) People who are self destructive in everything they do. I agree with you that some of the people on this board are a bunch of whiny people and will never do anything about their problems. If you haven't done so much as made a phone call or sent out a resume in the past week, it's very unlikely help will ever come. On the other hand, there are also those who are looking for advice when they get here. You can't blame them for trying. You enjoy reading other people's misery? You're a sadist in other words. You take pleasure from other people's pain. Sorry jerk-off, but you live in timewarpton. You really do. Why not open your own business? Most of us are struggling with ***DEBT*** already and wouldn't be able to finance a start-up even if we wanted to. Getting a job where you more appreciated...ahuh, ahuh, ahuh. Most people at work are underappreciated. Really, if you're appreciated on the job just go away. We don't know you or like you or appreciate your remarks. So, just go. Go. I agree...why is this person here? Start your own little site for the job loving. Who are you to judge us? Go play now... "Kiss Ass for Success" summarizes your remarks. Quitting your job if you don't love it ~ unemployment today. "Learn to love it!!!" Yeah, I just love sending out those resumes and hear nothing back at all. Blow yourself and your boss. You're not giving us anything but a cache of corporate bullshit. Fine. You have a job. You have a paycheck. That's all you have. Your coworkers probably hate you so your boss is your only friend. That's telling him. I'm tired of people saying we are to blame for rotten behavior by a boss. [Moderator] I bought a book titled something like "Love You Job," and, though I knew it would contain advice or ideas I had already taken--or thought of myself--I thought it couldn't hurt. The thing is, my job is unfixable. That is, if a smart, honest person seeking at least a shred of meaning in his worklife could function in a bureaucracy, then bureaucracies would cease to exist. Like Marx and others have written, they're unstoppable. I'm just here to whinge a bit and perhaps find someone else in this type of job who might have some advice. Meanwhile, I'm looking elsewhere, but it's very difficult to find a job in my field in my area of the country (SF bay). And it really is beginning to drive me nutty--slowly experiencing myself atrophy and all the while knowing why. Becoming another government lackey/slacker when the very idea of being one is repellent to me. :*( I'll just say one thing and leave it at that. People who really enjoy their lives have no time or interest in reading about other people's misery. In fact, dare I say that if you have enough confidence and joy in your own life, you WOULDN'T enjoy reading about other people's misery. I think someone here is overcompensating. Buddy, if you can't beat us, fucking join us. So you love your boss! Good for you. Get the hell off this website. GET LOST!!! |
