this is ridiculous

Whoever said a college degree will get you a better job needs his head examined...unless your degree is in a business field, it seems to me in my opinion you are ish out of luck....i have been looking for permanent work for a while now and i cant stand it...all i do is go to interviews, or even stupider, go to these temp agencies in the hopes that there are temporary to permanent hire positions, but all they seem to do is get me jobs i could have done in High school...

you cant think positively when you are in student loan debt for a degree you are not going to use, in a field that you are not going to even be in..so why go to school? i should just have went into the military or joined the police department after college, at least then i would have had a job...

if you are a recent graduate ("recent" meaning within TWO years!), then it will be extremely tough to get a career going.

I am in the same boat

I graduated with a BA in Communication in 1991. There isn't shit for jobs in that field. I finally found a job that was hiring people with degrees. The field is not related to my degree, but it pays the bills.

I have never been able to find a job remotely related to my education from a private college.

i hear you hyena...i dont think im gonna find any job related to my major either....but try telling my parents that, they do not want to hear any of it....they want me to get all positive and stuff like that...i mean how the f are you supposed to be positive when you went to school for four years and there is nothing out there for your major that pays enough to live off of?

I think i should go get a masters in Education or something
