Piss Poor Leadership

Working out the whole scheduling issue again here...After expecting the beast to correct the 7 days she had me down for, she indeed decided to play with it( a bit of back lash)...She waited 2 days to do anything. I "assumed" that I would be working certain days & wrote them down, instead she switches 2 days, chopping up what I had already accepted...Too bad I have already made plans and will be letting her know in person tomorrow (the best way to handle her is face to face), sadly she was off today, she missed much...I did however, inform her boss that she has been stealing, ringing up customers to cover other employee drawer shortages for mths now...I know because she took from my drawer when I first accepted the job. The longer you are there, the more you learn...That came to a screeching halt a few weeks back, tho the shift leaders are made to continue...She is a nasty beast with her employees, hell I have even told her that how she talks to them is WRONG and that she has no leadership abilities whatsoever...After I requested a transfer from her boss today, I was asked to have a chat...The Beast will be replaced...That was good news...Now I have to sit back and watch as the crackheads run games & steal, the employees "pretend" to be getting huge tips and the no shows or call ins continue to come and go as they please. All because the beast won't do a reference check or do anything about the madness...I will no longer come in to "rescue" when folks don't come in or call and leave a message on the damn fax machine (!?!) thinking that would excuse them for 2 days away (A FAX MACHINE)...Hmmmm the beast accepted that as did the assistant manager (in need of warm bodies or just STUPID)?...I made it clear that the only way I would give more than scheduled,was if they actually put a foot down (gee that went far)...I promoted teamwork, actually encouraged the supervisors (the decent ones) to treat employees properly, to say "thank you" and for fucks sake give them thier dammned breaks! Every day. (SHIT)...Employees should get a "thank you", after picking up the slack for the sorry fucks hired and the way they are lashed out at by the manager. I told the supervisors that if they take on treating employees better, that they would get more from employees as well as the respect that they crave and do not get at the moment. A few have adopted this & thankfully this is turning around for them...I DECLINED a management position my first week there & accepted one that did not include me in any "illegal activities". Meanwhile the mission is to better the work place for those wanting to actually work. A shitty work environment is due to Piss Poor Leadership...I could care less if I keep this job, but in any job I have, if I see employees getting pissed on, I will forever document for months, video tape & record coversations as I have had to do to make the changes fucked up managers decide that they can get away with doing...I am well on my way to my goal, to reform the work place at my current entry level position...
