My New Job

Well, Here is my first rant.
Twice in the past 5 years I've lost a job due to outsourcing (It's not just me but coworkers as well). Well, I have a new job and guess what part of my responsibilities are.....It is to support moving production to an overseas site. That's right folks!! Life it seems, isn't without a sense of irony. Gee, I wonder how much of a future I have at my new place. Everyone is in denial and blinded by the company line that, they are needed and special. Yeah right, I've been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. I actually have sympathy for my new co-workers but must not let that get in the way of my own strategic plan for survival.

Common sense seems to indicate that I need to find a future in another field other that engineering.

Try McDonald's, you can build Big mac towers and you won't even have to shower. Personally, I would bet that your terrible attitude will get you laid off no matter where you work.
