These are my top ten reasons why teaching sucks:

10. George Bush (NCLB)...George, I can show you some kids that you would pray to leave behind.
9. Administrators have no back bone.
8. Lawyers...teachers are scared shitless of being sued.
7. I called off work today, and still have a headache.
6. Parents want us to raise their children, but when we try, they threaten to sue us.
5. Students run the schools.
4. We are unemployed 2 months out of the year.
3. Kids have to come to school to get their welfare check.
2. Private schools are never hiring.
1. We have the summers off, but can not enjoy it, for fear of what little bastards we are going to have in our classes the next year.
