I've been thinking about SugarRand's posts.

Let's hear him out. I am intrigued by his posts.

I recall his previous posts where he wrote he would share how he resolved common work place problems. Ok then, SaganRand, why not share with us some of these common work place problems and let us know your first hand experiences in handling them. I would very much like get a better grasp of where you are coming from.

I've read the history, the interests, the background. I don't think SaganRand has anything new or innovative to share here. SaganRand is here to provoke. And when I say provoke, I am not referring to it in a positive way. There's nothing wrong with that I suppose, since it is a place where people are encouraged to express themselves and speak their minds. Keeps it interesting.
If you look at the varied responses and the number of them, I'd say that the mission was successful. SaganRand has frequently and sarcastically referred to the superior intelligence of the people here. This is a sure sign that SaganRand thinks he is above all this and may just be passing time at what he perceives as slumming. A very telling thing in itself that is.
OR: SaganRand is selling something (may be stating the obvious)
In order to make sure as many people as possible focus on his posts, he has launched in with provocative statements which he knows will
get the desired response, and once he has everyone's attention (he does tend to hold forth), will suddenly tell us all how to unlock the secret of the universe...or which came first, the chicken or the egg or some other startling revelation. ($39.95 plus tax limited time offer?)
Either way, I'm not impressed, in fact after reading through the second paragraph of the first post, I was yawning. I really don't care what books you like now SaganRand, although I might have before I read your second and third contributions here. Combative, aggressive and insulting, way to motivate! Typical.
Believe it or not Saganrand, I don't need your advice, or your judgement or anything you have to offer. I actually don't need people like you telling me your philosophy or analysing me, I know who I am and what I want. You also might want to work on the fact that you talk down to people as though they are children. (I'm about your age by the way) This is not the way to win friends and influence people. You have clearly missed the point of this site. You have just not grasped it.
There are countless self help sites with all kinds of offers, if we wanted those, we would visit them. That is just not what this is about.
In any case, I won't waste anymore time sparring with someone who obviously suffers from delusions of grandeur and severe tunnel vision.

This is basicly a Bitch and Vent site. Most people are overjoyed that this site exists because they have an outlet in a society that says we are not supposed to get mad at others. Bullshit.

Rage runs rampant here. One guy said he'd like to take a shotgun to his boss. People here are really hurting and touchy.

I came here at the beginning full of rage and hate. I had so much the Admin made me Moderator! I now have learned to deal with my situation more rationally like avoiding my bosses as much as possible. And, trying to start a business in my spare time.

You are welcome here. If you want to give advice and help go ahead. The only rule is no Name Calling like FU and "asshole" directed directly to members. Bent called you a pompous ass. I allowed that because it's kind of philosophical and smacks of rhetoric.
