Another rantWell once again i am here ranting, why? Because i am sick and tired of having to go out to job interviews and put on a happy f ing face...i didnt get the job at the DA's office, and now im still here going out looking for work. Despite what people think, there are very few jobs for my major...why? because they want you to have experience. But you cant get experience if you dont get the chance to get experience. This catch 22 as it is called, is the ultimate in bull ish for real. I think i am better off being a waiter or a janitor or something...just so i can go pursue my dreams without having to fuckin put on a suit and tie and go embarrass myself and go through the interview process. I mean im also sick of these interviewers playing these stupid games, and making me give up all this information and what not....I mean what the f do you need to conduct a credit check for if all im gonna be doing is data entry, for instance? do you really need to know what the f i spent money on in college? because for real it is none of your fucking business if what i am interviewing for has nothing to do with handling money or something like that...i dont need to go through the third degree if this is not giving me some type of Top secret Security clearance, or if this is not some law enforcement position. I cant stand all of this bullshit for real...and on top of that, im relatively young, and all i hear from my family is stay positive bla bla bla...well how can i stay positive when no one wants to hire me, but yet they make me go through these stupid fuckin games as if they are gonna hire me? either you know if you are gonna hire me after you interview me or you are not...dont fucking play games with me, because frankly, i am sick and tired of games. the other week I went for 3 interviews in one day. One had the decency to ring me on the ay and tell me no, but give me a load of bullshit excuses. The other 2 have never even bothered to give me a reply. A job I went for said they wanted to do a credit check on me and I wasnt happy about this. I had my problems when i was a teenager and my early twenties blowing money but thats all in my past - but why should they know about something as personal asthat? Especially at interview stage. Its a big old ball sack of shite and its one that just constantly hangs around, never giving us a break. |
