Howdy to all in FThisJob Land!

Thought I would pop back in for a quick hello. Things are changing at my job rapidly. I am in my third possition with the company, but I am about half way back onto the register at this point. It appears there was a mysterious rule no one knew about stating that cashiers were not allowed to become sales people. We know too much about the computer systems. What that has to do with anything, I really don't know, and no one else appears to get it, either. I can work the register... sort of. What, exactly, does that matter? We don't have access to much. What am I going to do, change prices? I can't.

Unfortunetly, the cashier they hired to replace me put in her notice. And the back up was fired because she couldn't seem to ever get to work.

I'm hanging in there because I really don't have much of a choice at this point. I really enjoyed being in sales, I actually thought it was fun. And I did really well. In two weeks, I sold a total of 11 guns, which is phenominal for a new sales person (most take at least two weeks to get their first sale, I somehow made three on my first day). But so much bullshit came right after I moved that I am less than thrilled anymore. I am doing my job the best I can, but at this point I don't really even know what my job is anymore. And standing in a 3 foot space for ten hours and not being able to even go pee during that period of time still isn't doing anything for me.

Because of my day in the ER about a month or two ago, I owe an extra $4000 in bills. I'm struggling pretty bad on $9.50 an hour with that, my credit card (which, by the grace of God, is usually below $200 a month), and my car bill. But apparently, still no one wants to hire me.

So... it's been an odd time thus far. The job and the issues that have come along with it have even caused me to turn away from shooting. And you guys know I love my guns and the target shooting. But I just haven't done it. The only times I have are my lunch breaks and days off, and when I don't have to be there I don't want to be there. But I can't afford range time elsewhere, and it is free here. So it has equaled out to much less shooting.

You'll be glad to know, however, that I have taken up archery in its place. :)

BS and more corporate BS. Glad to hear you're still alive and kicking until the next idiot comes in with an unloaded weapon.
