LosersBoy,I really hate two of the losers I have to supervise. I get complaint calls every day telling me they never return phone calls and their voicemails are full. They don't do what I tell them. They are never going to get promoted and worse they will never leave. I'm wondering, if ALL of the "losers" you supervise have the same problems, it may be systemic and something you could address or remedy, as a supervisor that is your job. I'm not saying that you don't have a point or that your complaints are not valid, I'm sure they are. If you have done the same job they are now doing and advanced, then obviously you know what is involved. So don't get me wrong, I am not getting at you for voicing your feelings. If you are their supervisor you should have an impact to their pay, yes? Then when review time comes, you can make it clear their increase was low or non-existent because of their poor performance, back it up with documented cusromer complaints....maybe that will make a difference You have no other recourse because killing them is not an option.
