Okay once again my office is attempting to screw the shit out of all of the loyal employees who work there. There are currently several different positions open for attorneys in our county and surrounding counties because we cannot seem to keep people employed at our agency for more than 6 months. I'm at a complete loss as to why based on the incredible efforts made by the "bigwigs" to retain employees,by not giving us bonuses or raises,or bothering to give us more than 1 day off for Christmas or Thanksgiving vacation. Piling more and more work on us requiring us to update our cases on a daily basis...etc, etc. Due to the multitude of open positions the "bigwigs" are requiring that our office cover the surrounding counties. well since only 2 out of the 6 attorneys in our office ever get any recognition for the work that comes out of our office those 2 attorneys are now being required to cover all the surrounding counties. I was pretty happy about that because I had not desire to help cover the surrounding counties, however because of the extra work load for the surrounding counties those attorneys are now asking the rest of us to help cover here in our home county. So those 2 attorneys will get all the recognition and credit for being slammed with all the work of the surrounding counties whereas the rest of us will be forgotten as we slave away picking up the slack of the day to day business here in the home office. This means covering trials, hearings, emergency hearings, etc. Basically taking on an extra 60 cases a piece ourselves, but with no recognition or even a thank you for our "big wig" office.
