I hate my boss

I really do. Last week my boss was on call, but then decides (on Thursday) that he wants to take a week long vacation, starting Friday. So thursday afternoon (while he sits in his office) his paralegal walks into my office and says "you're on call." I was like yeah I know starting this weekend. She's like no "starting now" and she hands me the on-call phone. I'm like What????? She's like the boss decided he wants to go on vacation tomorrow so you get to be on call a day early. You didn't know....he told everyone? How about that shit! Not only am I the last person to know that he is going on vacation, but that bastard doesn't even have the courtesy to tell me personally that I'm filling in for his lazy ass or even ask me if I'm okay with it. Then that stupid bastard told everyone else in the office, but never mentions it to me. Hell I'm the only one in the office that really needed to know that information. I was soo pissed off. Stupid fucker has all the time in the world to come talk to me about irrelevant shit and come on to me and ask me to come to his house and call him when his wife's out of town, but can't tell me anything about work!
Then to top it all off two of attorneys in the office have been singled out to cover other counties where there are vacant positions. (oh and of course I find out that they volunteered to help out those counties in exchange for extra pay...I think now there are 3 counties with vacant positions.) Anyways how come all week long I have been doing the emergency hearings, staffing cases, drafting motions, and answering questions for those counties all by myself? I can't even get a raise to the normal staring salary (because I don't have the requisite experience) and these bastards have me doing all the work for these other counties by myself. I tell you now if my boss says jack shit to me next time during evaluations or if I don't get a raise. I'm definitely walking out that same day if I don't leave sooner. What a piece of shit! my only words will be kiss my ass!

I still would have been on call and I would've wasted my breath talking to a moron who would've tried to convince me in the 5 minutes I was in his office to have sex with him sometime (while completely avoiding the real reason I was in his office. He's really good at that.)

I understand. You have been fucked, but now if you want to keep your job (remember that jobs are hard to come by)I would talk to the "boss" about this bullshit.

Understand this about any goddamn job. The GRASS IS NEVER GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE, IT IS POSSIBLY BROWNER. Just a little wisdom that this old man can pass on.

The longer you are in the workforce in this fucked up country, the more that you unfortunately will experience getting fucked. That's just the way it is. HELL, THANK FUCKING GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!!!!!

Your boss is breaking the law when he tries to convince you to have sex with him. This is called sexual harassment.

Does your boss have a boss? If yes you need to speak with him/her. Make them aware of the situation. Once they have been informed they must act and protect you. You can also go to the labor board and seek advice from them.

If so, go to hell. You have no fucking clue and you never did. Ever hear of a "right to work" state? In most places in America, you can be fired immediately for NO REASON. There are a few civilized states left where this is not the case, but you seriously need an education. The labor board is so far removed from daily workplace activity you might as well signal for assistance from a passing satellite. No lawyer in America will waste time with a sexual harassment case in a small business where it is he said/she said. So glad everything's been handed to you so easily. I'm just thrilled to hear it. Now go fuck yourself. Nobody else wants your nasty ass.
