I have not worked in this field, but I have been closely related to two people who were. The police. You could not pay me enough to do their job, but I can tell you, if I wanted a job where I could do anything I want and get away with it, including killing people, this is the best job to have.

I had a step dad once whose job was a cop. I have never met such a corrupt asshole in my life. He loved being a cop because he got away with anything he wanted to. Next was a jailer step dad who also loved the authority. He did anything he wanted and loved to use his power. I believe one of them is dead now. Good riddance.

If you hadn't guessed, I do not support or like cops. Now I realize there are corrupt assholes anywhere. Corporate america, politicans, attorneys, they are in any job.

Last summer there was a politican bitch who basically lied about everything she was accused of, was caught with drugs, and giving raises to people in her office right before she was kicked out. I knew she would get off because, well, she's a politican and it's all in who you know. The other person involved got prison. She got probation. Real fuckin fair. Fortunately, her career is ruined. Thank god.

The thing that just pisses me off about cops though, almost daily I read about them killing someone. And every single time it is "justified". Recently an 18 year old was killed because he was outraged with his parents, armed with a knife, standing outside, NOWHERE NEAR anybody. Several cops were there. They killed him. The ASSHOLE district attorney said "it is sad, but justified". Exactly you piece of shit, besides you were likely paid off, it wasn't your kid, or you WOULD be filing charges against the cops. Another story, a guy with mental problems was beaten by cops and died in custody. No drugs or alcohol were in him. The DA wouldn't press charges. BIG SURPRISE. Now it is going to a grand jury for a decision on if charges will be filed.

I have a strong feeling that, because they are cops, it will be ok, justified, and if anything, they will get a promotion. I recall reading a few years ago a cop in my town got a DUI. Guess what happened to him? He was let go. Yup, they are above the law.

What other job is there, aside from military, where you can kill someone for ANY reason, and you will ALWAYS be protected? A cop.

No, not all cops are bad. There are one or two out there. And as I said, corruption is everywhere in the world. But I know of no other job where murder is justified, except for cops.

I doubt any charges will be filed in these case, as the police are always protected. They can do no wrong.
