I despise food service. Seriously. And the people who work at the particular restaurant I work at. I've worked there for one year, and I've only earned a 25 cent raised. WTF is up with that!? It's not because of my ability either, I've been employee of the month 4 times!

The customers who come in are very ignorant and rude. There's rarely anyone who is nice, or treats me with decency. I hate being the cashier. I hate my hours. I hate my pay. I hate everyone I work with. I'm taken for granted. I'm the only one that cares about the reputation of that place. Everybody else sucks there. They don't know how to do half of the shit that needs to be done, when some have been working for more than three years! I'm working about 5-6 days a week, with shit pay, and it's not worth ANY of my paychecks. Dude I'm only in high school and working about 30 hours a week.

Want to know why? Because the manager doing the scheduling takes the girl's side I work with. There are 3 people total who do my job, and I'm the only guy. Meaning: I get stuck with the shit hours, because he wants to impress the girls or something. What the fuck ever. It's not like I'm trying to do well in school to get into a decent college or something.. [sarcasm!]. They're only working about 15-20 hours a week, and I'm stuck with SHIT hours.

And since I'm constantly being put on the cash register, I'm the one that customers get pissed at. Because nobody can ever do anything right! So because they all make mistakes in the back, customers get pissed off at ME like it's my fucking fault! GAHHH!

And then the regional manager/the head boss of our region came in last night, and I was wiping down tables like I was taught, and then he comes up to me, basically fucking yells at me about how I'm doing it wrong. WHAT THE FUCK!?! I did it how I was taught! And he then throws water basically on the table from the rag, makes me put my arms on it, and tell him how it makes me feel. WHAT THE HELL!?!? And then he came in again tonight, and singles me out again and tells me to go outside and empty all the garbage cans, when it's not even my job! The people who open in the morning are supposed to do it! IT'S NOT MY JOB! It's not my fucking fault that every single person I work with is a fat lazy jerk that lets me do their jobs for them!

Speaking of which, tonight I wasn't even supposed to close/be on the cashier. I was only supposed to prep the food and bring it out. But no, the stupid bitch I work with was bitching me all day and calling me begging to switch. She said that she was so stressed tonight because of family shit or something. Something lame. But then as I finally agreed to close for her (after making that bitch switch hours with me on Friday), I then hear her blab about how she's going out partying tonight. STUPID BITCH! I HATE YOU!

And I am having serious anger issues when I work there. I'm starting to get so pissed off at everybody. I will yell and snap at everyone who gets in my way. I'm starting to not care anymore. I'm sick of taking everyone's shit, and doing everything right. Why the hell do I have to do it all!? Everybody else does half assed jobs at EVERYTHING they do! What the fuck! I'm going to go insane, either that, or I already am..

AND to add onto all of that, I have to work fucking Thanksgiving day tomorrow, and there is absolutely no benefits. I have to be there at 7:30 am, and have to stay til 3 in the afternoon! WTF!?!?!? I still get paid regular time, and nothing in it for me, like time & and a half. And I'm also guessing that I'll be forced to work Xmas Eve also. Goddamn I hate my job.
