Bullshit interview

Oh I have a good one here. A week ago, a staffing agency contacted me about my resume and had a GOOD proposal as a Windows/Linux system administrator. I read over the description several times. Nothing about customer service, technical support, answering phones. Excellent! She forwarded my resume. A few days ago she said a lady on site at the job wanted do to a screening, then set up an interview.

I did a quick phone screen. Went pretty well. The phone interview was today at 11 am. I forgot about it, and called at 11:15 instead. I talked to 3 people, one guy named Adam who seemed like a DICK. Answered their barrage of questions. Then he dropped the bomb. "How do you handle irate customers?" WHAT THE FUCK? What does this have to do with a system administrator? I knew where this asshole was going.

So how do I deal with pissed off customers, yelling and screaming, calm them down, etc? Easy. I FUCKING DON'T BECAUSE I'M NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE BITCH. I explained how I did it in the PAST.

He said they were internal customers. How the fuck is that possible?

At the end of the call I asked how much of this job was dealing with these customers? About 40%. Ok, thanks. I went and looked at the description again. NOWHERE did it say that. I think that's pretty fucking significant... 40 fucking percent!!!

The recruiter called me back and said "they love you! you are hired!" GO FUCK YOURSELF. You fucking lied to me and said NOTHING about the customer service. That is an IMMEDIATE deal breaker. She said "well, how about the pay?" I said "does it pay $75/hr? THAT'S NOT ENOUGH."

She claimed she didn't know about this. Then she isn't doing her fucking job. I told them I am NOT doing customer service again, and I'm pretty pissed off they wasted my time and didn't tell me that almost half of the job is dealing with asshole customers. No fucking way.

I emailed the lady at the staffing agency and told her I want this to be VERY clear: NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO CALL CENTERS, NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. If that is too much for you to handle, get rid of my resume. I am pretty pissed off you wasted my time.

The job looked so good too. 40% customer service and it isn't mentioned on the job description??? Especially since the title was "System Engineer".

I'm pissed...fucking recruiters.
