Another Thesaurus Whore Returns!

Demandred makes his auspicious return under the new guise of Morvayne! It has been two years since I disappeared from Fthisjob.com, and many thing have changed. I still work in the pizza business, albeit for a smaller regional company. I am no longer a manager, thanks to the back-stabbing management culture at Pizza Hut, but am a lowly peon. But no pity is necessary, forthcoming or not, because I am happier with my current job, despite any incidents or occurences that you may hear about in future posts. I make less money, but I don't constantly have a headache from stress, and for me, the two balance out beautifully. But enough talk about me. I see Mister X and Ndiezel still post, so a big whassup to both of you. If there is anybody else still posting that recognizes or even remembers my former user name, please speak up and be heard.

The empty can rattles the most.

I was formerly known here as ServiceWithaFakeSmile, and I remember you. I am no longer a server, but I'm still here. Need I say more? :)

Hi! What do you do now? I'm interested to know, even though I'll be checking out your blog to get an update. Very nice to hear from you.

I saw the comment you left in my blog...thanks for reading and for the support. :) The latest is that I took the most recent job I was talking about - dispatcher for a medical monitoring company. So far I really like it and training is going well, and hopefully that will last. Basically I'll be answering medical alarms from elderly people who push their panic buttons, and I send someone out to help them. The pay isn't great at all, but I'm seeing it as more and more workable, and I'm trying to pick up something else part-time to help cover some expenses. (Pneumonia ain't cheap and I'm still paying for it - but I'm healthy now and that's all that matters!) I'm feeling better mentally than I have in a while so hopefully that'll last. Sounds like you're in a similar boat - it's nice, isn't it??

It's just really nice to have an easy job sometimes because you don't have to dedicate your entire life to keeping your job. If you can do it in your sleep, burnout is not really a big problem so much as boredom. A wise man told me that boredom is a luxury, so we should treat it as such.
