just becuase im young

why is it that just because i don’t have wrinkles or gray hair. or have kids to talk about or a mortgage to pay that older people can do what they want with me. i had a great job working in the quality department. i loved it it was the best thing that ever happened then out of blue they move to the mail room. what an insult to my intelligence a down grade to my status. But most of all embarrassing to have to give people their mail while they sit on their ass all day. I was one of those ass sitters and now im running up and down the stairs all day. And do know why… coz I work to fast. And im young. Fuck you all im going to organize the mail room like you asked and then you can shove your company up your ass just coz your HR doesn’t mean you can walk all over me. Yes im young, so what you should be thankful. So fuck you Catharine. How bout you get of your ass and get your own mail.

The old hag I currently work with seems to be somewhat threatened by me because I do an equally important job and am less than half her age! She is so unwilling to listen to me and cuts me off in mid-sentence and I'll bet she's part of the reason why my current position won't exist in 6-8 weeks. You're old, get a life! Don't naturally assume that younger people don't have a clue when we seem to be more hard working, quicker and more eager to learn!

I hear you. I don't know what to do about it either. Other than kissing ass by using annoying buzz-words and little sayings like "the hair of the dog" to sound "smarter." This guy I work with seems to have success with that, which is amusing to me since I've worked with him for 8 years and know what he used to talk like. I can't do it though.
