I'm not normal, I consider myself transgender but I know where you're coming from. Scary thing is, lesbians and gays get the best treatment, and they make much better Nazis than the racial minorities (look at the sadistic loonies on Queer Eye)

Where normal, hard working people are treated like shit.

The politically correct world is an opportunity for the majority to get a taste of what discrimination feels like. Doesn't feel very good, does it? Life isn't fair at times.

Where I work, I've been here the longest and have the most accomplishments to my credit. As the department has grown from one (me) to 7, I'm clearly a visible minority now. I'm now doing trivial assignments, helping out a guy who's been here half as long as me. I'm a licensed engineer and should be designing shit. Yet this arrogant bastard with no license is designing and I'm coding his designs. The roles should be reversed, but this is what the white manager has decided my role will be.

While discrimination and "political correctness" are wrong, I can't help but laugh at the majority complaining when the shoe is on the other foot.

Normal, hard working people (of any color, class, sex, age, etc) who stay quiet and don't complain are treated like shit.

As a guy who falls into one of those categories (not gay, transgender, or lesbian) - I tend to see/treat people for what they really are: people.

I recently quit a place where my uh...ethnicity seemed to put me on the wrong side of the fence with namely one guy (asshole ex-Marine, redneck fuckhead). I sucked it up and didn't paint everyone with the same brush as having some prior experience in the public sector, I've had that kind of shit thrown at me by small-minded idiots who couldn't think of anything else - you know, total high school shit.

Majority of the time, in my experience the type of people who complain about "race" or a specific ethnic group for their problems tend to stay where they are and never move ahead. Rightfully so.

I'm not passing any judgement onto the guy who made this post, but venting is venting and for it's own sake - do it if it gets a load of your mind. But just remember, life is politics and political correctness. People will use ANYTHING against one another if it gets them ahead - and it doesn't matter who or what you are. It's the nature of the beast (the beast being us as a collective human race) This affects all of us. Does that mean the problems of racism, "reverse" racism, bigotry, nepotism, and the like will disappear? Nope.

Even if we were all one "race", trust me, we'd still find a way to differentiate ourselves. It's that fucked up flaw we've all got, and in today's world that "flaw" is used as a weapon. But look closely and you'll see that it's all the same. Only faces and names change.

And trust me, I've had words like "reverse racism" thrown at me too. Like I said. People are people. And most people are fucking retards who should've been aborted at birth with their mama's umbilical cord.

other than National Ass for adv of Colored People!!! How about a NAAWP? Would that fly. I know plenty of black people who AA'd and sued their way to the top. Makes me proud to knwo that all the money I spend and taxes I pay are being put forth on welfare for these assholes, litigation money for their pockets, and pay raises for those who qualify for AA.

It is discrimination, and becasue of it, never feel sorry for anybody who falls into this group. Here's what you can do to retaliate against these assholes:

1) Never donate money - it goes to the same assholes who benefit from AA and welfare
2) Don't buy a new car. Buy a good used one, and bring it to a shop where white guys work. It's cheaper and supports whites who support their families.
3) Buy from Walmart - White owned, keeps them on welfare and shit cans factories employing them
4) Don't vote for black politicians
5) Don't vote for politicians who support them
6) Don't give to food drives either....

Screw AA and all the other equal opportunity crap. I went through the ranks against those who benefit from AA and EO. I made it through and it is one damned unfair process that should be eliminated at once. Don't suppor tthe blackman, support your own race first.

No point really saying much in response, other than your anger is the same kind of anger that spawned an organization like the NAACP. You go right on believing that white people won't screw you, if that will let you sleep at night.

By the way, white people don't need an organization like an NAAWP. In a white society, these benefits are already built in. Rare is the person who truly is color blind. My own experience is that people tend to side and favour people of their own kind, without even realizing it. It's just human nature.

Our Gov tracks race, sex, gender and has many policies and procedures that descriminate based on these attributes, yet the civilian population is expected to be tolerant and racially blind. Any white person who speaks up about this unfair descrimination is ironically labeled as a "racist". Sorry ColoredGuy if we don't accept guilt and punishment for things none of us had anything to do with.

ill just say this-- both blacks and white americans conveniently use "racism" as a scapegoat for their disatisfaction. aruge if you will, but i think this is true many times over. please-- some of us lower middle class people went through freaking hell to get through college (not poor enough to get grants, not the correct ethnicity to get grants or benefit from grade inflation).

I've been trying to get a job at a University where I used to work and am an alum for over 10 years. It is a great place to work and I know when jobs open up the University gets a ton of applications. But come on - 10 years and only a handful of interviews?

So - I'm going to do a little experiment. I'm going to apply as myself - and also as a person with an ethnic sounding name - just to see it Ms. Ethnicity gets more of a response. Anyone want to wager any bets as to whose resume gets more of a response?
