My last day...

..and nobody seems to care. It's just like, business as usual. Hello, I'm leaving fuckers and you'll never ever see me again. Thanks for the appreciation of all my fucking hard work and bailing my boss out of so much shit. Plus the guys were supposed to organise a night out for us when I was leaving and...nothing! It's like nobody really gave a shit about me from day one! And I'm the one who's actually sad about leaving!

If anyone thinks that the people at work are their 'friends' and 'care for you' you need a reality check. They will put on their phony faces, smile and knife you in the back. When you leave it benefits them and they'll never see you again so don't expect anything. There is nothing worse than those phony fucking goodbye parties anyway.

Just hit the road and never look back.

Omg! my job isn't like that at all. Not ALL of them.. but some people at my job actually do care about me..... at other locations, there are some pushy bitches. However, I am at the main office, (the owner chills in the back and watches us work) so..
basically, we all get along with each other and he is the enemy. Lol!
Hellcat, you really need to give those bitches the finger. If they don't care about you, they are pretty retarded. Hopefully, the next company you work for won't have a bunch of morons working for them.

There are some things that you need to understand:
1)Nobody at work cares about you. You are just another cog in the wheel.
2)Never feel guilty about quitting and leaving to go onto something better for yourself. Believe me, the company will fire you in a heart beat if it felt it would serve the company's best interest so....by you quiting, you are firing the company to serve your own best interest.
3)The day after you leave, you will be forgotten. So forget about them, they are history.

I didn't care if my co-workers cared when I left my jobs. I don't give a hoot about them, so it ain't important. In any case, they'd likely try to get me fired or force me out given as I was an asshole earlier in life.

If your co-workers were caring people, you wouldn't be leaving, would you? You can't expect assholes with a history of shitty behaviour to suddenly obtain the human touch?

Like the song says, "Ain't Nothing Going On But The Rent". Company doesn't give a shit, co-workers don't give a rat's ass. They're only concerned with their own well being. I learned a long time ago that the only person you can really count on in life is yourself. No one else. Don't leave yourself vulnerable to being hurt, especially in the work force.

I've been in a few different jobs now but in my last one I did come to care about some of the poeple I worked with. I really got on with some of the guys there who were in and out of the office a lot. Whenever I was having a shitty day their presence isntantly lifted my humour. That was basically why I was so upset. They didn't want me to leave and were clearly not entirely happy about it and even said it to me. I just miss the company.

Anyway, after I wrote that post my boss had the audacity to ask me to stay another week! And you know what, not doing him any favours or anything or because I liked the place afterall but I should have. I should have sussed out my other options and basically given myself some before accepting a job just for the sake of it...
