Returning to a boring ass job

So, I have been laid off for a few months now. I came to the conclusion that I was not going back, but due to financial circumstances I may have to go back to my long commute and boring ass job. I really don't want to go back. Just thinking of sitting in traffic for 45 minutes or more one way just makes me cringe. Then when I get to work, I have to sit for the whole time I am there, then I sit in traffic again on my way home. What the life I am going to have. I guess I will not be stressed about how to make the bills.

that is my deal. Sometimes I could just scream. I guess that is why I am on this site.

I hear you. I find myself resorting to the strangest behavior in an effort to feel less bored. Like writing on my door "copy womb" instead of "copy room." Clever? Maybe, but it's all I got. I get really scared when I look around at my coworkers and see that the boredom from their job has seeped into their lives. If they aren't talking about shopping, and I mean grocery shopping, they're talking about bad television or movies. That's it. Just for once I'd like to hear one discuss anything remotely political or even just about a book or trip, their interests. Scary how fast disinterest can spread.
