FINALLY TIME TO MOVE ON!

Well.......finally moving on. Was just waiting for the right opportunity to present itself, and it finally did. Got an offer for a position 12 miles from home, doing what I know and enjoy,FOR MORE MONEY! Leaving in style and dignity. No 'Fuck You''s on my way out. No explaining to the boss the he's an egotistical fucking loser. None of that stuff....there's no profit in it. I figure the worst thing I can do to these people is to convince them that I'm the problem. That way they continue behaving the way they do, and continue shooting themselves in the foot by letting good employees slip through thier fingers. Thats my revenge.
I guess good things really do come to those who wait. For those of you still waiting.........HANG IN THERE! Your day will come. You deserve better, and you will get it.

Jebus will come back and people will rapture before it ever gets better in my department. The one asshole who makes my job completely INTOLERABLE could take a dump in the paint, piss in everyone's coffee, and wipe his ass with the production reports and STILL KEEP HIS JOB! If my dumb-assed micromanagers would pull their heads out of their asses and my head engineer would crawl out of his nice, quiet, cushy office and see that asshole in action just for ONE DAY, they'd have more than enough ammo for which to shit-can him. Even then I'd still be too burnt out to care for this job, then they'd have to pay me at least 16 bucks an hour just to keep me happy after that becuase I've done the work of almost two lab techs for at least ten months... FUCK THIS COMPANY!

It will give them a reason to bad mouth you to anyone who happens to mention your name. Just say you are leaving for another opportunity that you cannot pass up.

They are already deluded. You don't need to drag your name through the mud for that.

That's why it's called at-will employment. It does suck that many superiors use this as a reason to fuck hard workers over when they start the witch-hunts/firing season, but it also has a plus side. You can leave for ANY reason too! You technically don't have to give two weeks' notice. If it's not the high-point career of your life type job, then you know your next employer won't even bother calling your ex. Wow this human resource management I'm studying CAN be used for good! They want you for you. Just be glad to get out of the monkey house for once on your own terms. Good luck.
