He died in here!!!!!!

i`ve just taken on a temp job for the summer with a local firm
doing sub contract work for the local council, it involves stripping and re painting window frames no problem...
I started Monday 22 this month may and was told to go to this address where a man would be waiting for me to tell me what to do, ok so far.
"ok you need to strip the back bedroom window and re paint it""just that one" i said"yep just that one and your done" great easy i`ll be finished in a few hours and home early today .it was rather a warm day so I left the gloves off after I had applied the stripper to remove the paint.
half way into the job the gaffer turns up"all ok"he said"yeah no problem"and off he went so I carry on striping then I get to the actual window opening and it looks like the thing has been re painted over and over again over a number of years it`s that thick. as I start to scrap the door go`s and in walks a middle aged woman and asks if the house will be rented out soon? I don't know came my reply still busy scraping away at the thick paint! only she tells me it used to be her dads house before he died and that he was bed ridden and spent the last weeks of his life in this very room oh I said i`m sorry to here that. then she go`s on to tell me that he had chronic bronchitis and had trouble with his chest and was clearing it all the time, by way of clearing it he had to spit and the easiest place to spit was out of the open window that I was happily scraping with no gloves on thinking it was thick paint but no it was built up phlegm from years of chest clearing
the dirty old sod.....

I was thinking, that isn't sso bad that he died in the room but that Phlegm is simply awful.

Wash your hands in turpentine, then that hard rough soap, them douse them with alcohol, wash them in the hottest water again, throw out all towels you use and repeat.
