It's Hard....

It's hard to take a manager seriously when:

1. They dress like a 14yo teenager.
2. They have visible tattoos.
3. They get yelled at and lectured in front of their subordinates by other managers.
4. They panic or get emotional when a crisis comes up or things don't go the way they like.
5. They wear shorts.
6. They act like they are still back in high school.
7. Don't act decisively because they are visibly afraid to commit to anything.
8. They lose a customer and then try to cover it up.
9. You come to him with a fresh idea and he immediately claims that he was thinking that exact same idea.
10. He sneaks up on you to see what you are doing.
11. They clearly are bitter and disappointed with how their life turned out and see work as their only way to justify their existence.
12. They think everyone thinks like they do or at least should think like they do.
13. They claim to be your buddy but at the first sign of a screw up they disown you.
14. They act like a beat puppy.
15. They get insecure because of your background.

Well,,,,that's all that comes to my mind!!

Here's some more:

16. The manager goes on about how they're so smart and you're not a manager and some other BS but then they drop the ball on everything.

17. They enforce the rules against you but let their favorites and butt buddies slide.

18. They go on about we're supposed to be nice to the customer but then they snap at a customer themselves.

19. They bring thier nasty lunches to work, usually some gross combination of stewed rabbit curds and sewage.

20. They give you hell for not being tolerant of other people's "religions" but then they try to convert you to thier religion.

I'll never respect management at any company again. I don't care if you're a Jew or a pregger or you have 7 kids or you're a gay, I'll never trust you if you are management. Hell I don't care if you're in the military getting your brains shot out, don't expect me to trust you. Every manager I've met has never been a truely honest person and they're good for nothing. The corporate structure nowadays is set up like a boot camp. No wonder there's so much work stress and people going postal all the time.

Thats management in my office

Numbers 1, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 17, 18 and 19 are confirmed definites in my office.

Plus the fact that they easily criticise everythying in do wrong but cant even offer a thank you when you work really hard. The last 4 days I have worked my ass off trying to get up to date with a backlof and all I got in return was grunt andwas told to send the reports out I was given. SO fuck you, you complete non-entity. You're shit.

21. They go on and on about how good the company is and why as a motivational BS tool, and half of the "whys" are total crap

24. They are the ones with the college degree, yet they aren't "quite sure how to get to that file" on the computer, when you are the one who quit highschool and have GED and can find anything and everything on THEIR computers.....ahhhhh but sweet revenge will be yours when you leave...
