'97 - '03; what the hell has happened to this place?

I wish we could live the late 90s again. Quite honestly, am I the only one that seems to think the country is going backwards? It's like the majority of America is turning into some wierd really bad version of the 1950s. I was looking at help wanted ads today and most of the ads seem to appeal to the idiots stuck in 1957. One ad in particular had a picture of a bunch of kids blowing bubbles, and even the other ads suck. Every real estate ad I see is the usual mom/dad/two stupid kids and the damn dog in front of the house. The restaurants are all fried chicken and grits and deep fried horseshit or something. The mall here is the Granny Mall 5000 everything is oversized crap worn by the fatass clowns that work at the fucking banks here and the car dealers all have a bunch of high school dropouts with a combined total of 13 teeth working for them. Stores like Target and Walmart and every other big store used to have cool stuff, now it's all this jumbo sized crap (baby you look like Grandma's couch when you wear that flower mumu). And even the cars now suck the only new car I'd buy is Japanese since the Amurican stuff is all Hummers and Dodge Magnums (that was dead 20 years ago, Chrysler) Also, it seems like everyone has a stainless steel flagpole up their butt since everyone flies too many flags and blathers on about patriotism and God and Jesus and whos a fag and so on. What happened to the good old days? Can we get them back? Damn I want to live in 2007 not 1957 and it seems like the vast majority of the morons and goons in this country want to live in fried chicken and mobile homes with GMC Yukons...ugh....oh and the stupid yuppie look has to go too.

infact its becoming india. there are so many indians here that it might as well be another country(not that I will complain about the indian resteraunts...I adore indian food)

oh and the main reason that I am having trouble finding a job is because I'll nearly always get passed over for a european or asian immigrant

What is going on is that from 1998-2003 we have the largest mass guest worker invasion in 100 years. Bigger than the invasions in the 1920s that CAUSED the Great Depression a decade later.

Americans were asleep when the American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement in the 21st Century Act was passed in 1998. That law raised the H-1B visa cap to 115,000 PER YEAR from 65,000 per year. Then they did it again in 2000 and raised it to 195,000 PER YEAR. Do the math. It's 1.1 MILLION people. According to the U.S. Dept. of Labor 89% of those visas went to Indian nationals. I saw what they did to a booming Silicon Valley. The destroyed it. It's a wasteland now. FOR LEASE everywhere. Like the Great Depression.

MASS IMMIGRATION CAUSES ECONOMIC RECESSION!

You can't go back to the '90s because these people are still here, and they are still taking our jobs, and they are still sending their paychecks home and sending our wealth RIGHT OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

They come here broke and earn $50K in 3 years, send it back to India where, because of the exchange rate different, it's like $2,000,000 back there and THEN THEY RETIRE. They are retiring on our money.

Worst of all they don't do the work when they are here and then all the companies collapse which destroys millions of American jobs. Oh yeah, and by the way, they hate us and won't hire Americans.

I'm sure the illegals are a big problem. Scary thing is, if we deport all of the illegals back to whereever they can from, the population would lurch back to about 275 million. If you ask me it's a small part of a much bigger problem; I'm honestly convinced that the US is in it's terminal stages of existance. All of the legal and economic screwups are coming back to haunt us with a vengence, and I think later this year the Storm is coming.

He predicted a 3rd quarter recession in the US for 2007. If I were you, I'd start saving some money because it's going get worse.
