straight-up bullshit

This is so ridiculous!! okay, so I applied at ________ at the beginning of August. I had three interviews, the GM made it sound like I would most likely get the job (as a jewelry sales person) Last week he told me some bullshit like "oh, we don't have enough hours... we have a lot of other people who want the same seasonal position you do." So, he told me "well, our Jewelry Repair Center is hiring!! the manager's name is ________"
I had an interview with her today, (my fourth) I felt like everything was going pretty well. Right before I walked out she said "okay, well I have two weeks full of interviews. So, I might know something in two weeks." I didn't say anything, but I have already waited two months for this job. I honestly don't even want this job anymore. How can they think I could possibly still be interested in this job, after they continue to make me wait?

I had a similar situation before I ended up here. I interviewed w. the company and was told they wanted me, and a decision would be made w.in 72 hours. Long story short, in 72 hours, the decision to bring me back for a second interview was made. I went in, interviewed, and was told that they would get back in touch w. me.

Two days later, they told me it was between me and another guy. Enough is enough. I went out an interviewed here, and was hired on the spot.

In the meantime, the first place called me for a THIRD interview that afternoon. I told them that I had already accepted a different job offer. They were floored.

Sadly enough, that is the way business is run. People think you have nothing better to do than site around and wait for them to make decisions. THen when you go off and do your own thing, they're shocked when you turn them down.
