Too AggressiveI've heard a few complaints from other "Team Members" about me that I am "too aggressive". I guess I should back down a bit; after all, you can't expect these pathetic motherfuckers to even try and keep up. Plain and simple: the leadership in my workplace is shit. The gossip and politics is like high school sometimes. The new corporate is losing its grip and profits and they need to gather strength. They instead are losing strength and gathering stagnation. Everyone is pissed off and grumbling and waiting to see what is going to happen next. They have as of late rewritten the employee handbook and everyone is buzzing and freaking out about it. I wonder if they realize this contradiction: while attending their seminars, they literally interrupt employees who use the word, "employee" when referring to another employee and make them say instead the words, "Team Member". Now, what's funny about this is the fact that on the front cover of the employee handbook, in the center of the page just below the corporation's name and logo, it says in bold black letters on top of a blue background: "EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK". Amazing. I work for these people? Yes, I do. In the words of, Led Zeppelin - "it's n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n, noooooo - body's fault but mine!" Y'know, not one single motherfucker in the whole place has opened discussion about that contradiction. I can't believe no one has noticed that. I can't believe they want me to beg for money to buy necessary equipment we need. Of course, I will not beg. I will instead continue to report the facts and keep careful records of bullshit and lies that are told and fight back with the facts like I always do. To hell with punk-ass, feel-good, phony bullshit. Give me the biggest gun ya got, Boss, and show me which way to go. But these punks are like a bunch of little girls at a tea party. No offense to little girls at tea parties, of course, they have more savvy than these punks any day. Quitting is looking better everyday. Little Nicky Now,if it were me and I know my saracastic ass would not get caught I'd take my newest Sharpie and cross out "Employee" and put "Team Member" then stick back in boss' box. Coffeegal ah, that reminds me. My manager refers to the company handbook whenever he claims we violate company policy. 3 years with the company and I have never seen a company handbook . He continues to claim it exists and I am still held accountable to unseen rules. I swear the handbook is fiction and he just wants to see how I will respond. He won't show it to you because he only wants to use it AGAINST YOU. Not for you. Some companies intentionally don't print employee handbooks because then they HAVE TO stick to the rules which employees are entitled to. Or, they can be sued because of what's in there. I think he doesn't want you to see that you get 12 sick days! LOL. [Moderator] |
