Merry Christmas (Except you, boss)

It's been a while since I've posted. Just thought I'd drop by and say, "Hi!"

Much has changed since I logged on but I'm hanging in there. My eyes are opened even more. And the biggest lesson I can come up with is: My coworkers are miserable and unhappy, they just don't know it. They are numb to it. At least I'm breaking free from it. If anything, I WILL be happy. I guess with age comes wisdom and maturity.

Just thought I'd post a little song, to express myself WageSlaveZ style

In this farewell
There’s no blood
There’s no alibi
‘Cause I’ve drawn regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies

[Pre-Chorus:]
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I’ve done

[Chorus:]
I'll face myself
To cross out what i’ve become
Erase myself
And let go of what i’ve done

Put to rest
What you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands of uncertainty

[Pre-Chorus]

[Chorus]

For what I’ve done
I start again
And whatever pain may come
Today this ends
I’m forgiving what I’ve done!!!

[Chorus]

What I’ve done
Forgiving what I’ve done

Hi darthsidious, good to see you back on here. Miserable and unhappy coworkers are everywhere. I've been at a new job two months and I see the same kind of people I left behind. If there's a way to break free of this, I'd sure like to how, instead of running in circles from one bad environment to the next.

I've found the same thing. No matter where you go, it's is literally the same kind of people.

I think true freedom is from within. You, I, and the rest of us see how others at work are and we see the dysfunction. It's like being brought into the "real world" ala The Matrix.

I hope you are making more money. The way I see it, if you are going to jump, jump for more $$$$.

Peace.

You are correct, with age comes maturity and for some wisdom, or sometimes just plain old resignation. In any case, as long as it is an imporvement, it is welcome.
Have yourself a restful, peaceful Christmas.
Good to see you post again.
