I Watch TV at Work

Haha. There is little to do on this lame job (most of the time). It's like a prison for 8 hours a day. So in order to make prison more tolerable, I brought in some DVDs this week. I caught up on Season 3 of Lost! Watched them on my Computer. Woo hoo.

Think I have it easy? Think you want a job like mine? Think again. No sense of purpose, completly void of any direction, or future. Little work to do on my scheduled hours and yet they still call me on my days off. I brought these problems up with my 'boss' and he said, 'well read a book when you're bored'.

So I thought, book, DVD, same difference. These are people who don't have the common sense to see that there isn't enough work for a full time position. It should be a contractor position. They should fire me and rehire me (or someone else) as a contractor. Now what can I rent next?

Take advantage of that time and start your own side business. Use your work's resources to run your new business. If they are dumb enough to hire you and put you in a position that has little or no actual work (and pay you at the same time), who says you can't make more money doing something worthwhile.

I am not challenged at all at my job.(leaving very soon though!) It makes me feel useless, insecure and a waste. I have bought a ton of useless shit on E-Bay, I stay off that site now.
If you can do something on your own, on their time, go for it. Otherwise, I suggest The Office DVDS, all three seasons, watch those.

I would have killed for a job like yours when I was a young. I would suck up every moment studying on "the mans" dime. Going for the BS, maybe even a masters. FREAK'N ENJOY AND AND GET ENROLLED IN COLLEGE. Do your homework on "the mans" dime.

You have a SWEEEEEET job and don't even realise it!!!

AND YOUR FREAK'N BOSS DOESN'T EVEN CARE!!! Man, you have it made!!!!

As they said way back when.... "Your in like Flint". Go get that degree!!!!

Plankton, got my BS on their time, my dime. (They didn't pay a cent toward tuition). I was foolish enough to think that a BS would help make me more qualifed for another job. Hasn't happened.
