Today we had my going away lunch. My boss called in our orders and our food was there waiting when we arrived. We came in, sat down, ate and left. Hardly a word was spoken. We set a time record. When I got back, she gave me a card that the department people signed, there was no time to give it to me at lunch. The funny thing is, that is just what I should have expected, she would not want us hemming and hawing whilst work was there to be done. These things just make me know that I made the right decision to go to the govt. job. Things are so right at this time. I made plans with the people in my department to go out Friday night, we will do it right.
