What the fuck?!?!?!?!?

I just left a job I have had for 4 years in pursuit of a better opportunity. I hated the last job I had and the company is slowing failing, so I started looking. I landed this great job with a small but growing bank as a Senior Network Administrator. I interviewed with 4 different folks on different occasions and was loved by all. Even the Chief Operations Officer loved me and was happy to hire me. I started the job and work a hole 2 and 1/2 days before being fired and walked out of the building.

I was called down to the human resource department and was told that I lied on my application that I filled out. They told me I was convicted of a crime and I marked off that I was wasn't. This is considered lying and they had to let me go. It seems that a Breach of Peace charge I had from 10 years ago (I was only fucking 19) showed up on some background check they did. Breach of Peace?!?! Isn't that a fucking misdemeanor or something? FRom when I was fucking 19 on top of it.

This is the biggest bullshit I have ever heard in my life. Fuck computers and the exchange of information. You make one god damn mistake in your life and it will haunt you forever? SO now I have to answer yes to that question? Why did they not check this shit before they hired me. I can't say which bank it is yet because of a unemployment hearing coming up, but FUCK YOU BANK.

So back to trying to find a fucking job in this shithole Connecticut economy, trying to pay my mortgage, and finding a way to feed my son.
