Don't Ya Just Love It When...

Some asshole, after you've described (or fervently bitch, as the case may be) your terrible job situation, tells you to "just change careers."

It's a whole hell of a lot easier said than done to just up and switch. Like I've bitched about before, I've been trying to "switch" for over 2 fucking years now, to no avail. When you're stuck, you're stuck.

Hell, even if I were able to change jobs, it'd probably be as bad or worse than the one I have now. So, I'm in a catch-22. I don't want to go back to school, because I'd just accumulate more debt. I'm stuck. Fuck a job. I completely understand why people just say "fuck it" and sell drugs, or steal, or whatever the fuck they need to do to get money.

Ding-Ding. You nailed it right on the head. Before I logged on I was furiously scanning Craig's List for something to apply to. Anything. And I came to the same conclusion: everything looked as equally appalling as where I am now. Yes, stuck, spinning my wheels - it's not consolation, but know you've got company.

someone else feels my pain, as it were. Misery loves company, eh?

Wow! I was thinking the same thinking earlier today... how much easier and nicer life would be if I didn't have a job, and did something like dealing drugs... I'd have a bigger/better home and a nicer car and more clothes and jewlery that's for sure! Oh yeah and no taxes! LOL
