OK I would be really sad if my current situation wasn't temporary. As it is, I've already decided that even if I don't have anything lined up by April 15 I'm quitting anyway, but I hope to be out of here within a month.

I won't go into much detail about the job, don't worry, I'll give you all the info after I've quit, but suffice to say it's one of those jobs you pray you don't get. You can probably guess it within 2-3 tries.

Anyway, I work my main job 5 days a week and a part time job the other 2. The part time job is in the industry I want my career to be in but the place itself sucks and while doing it in place of a job I hate would be awesome, doing it on my days off from a job I hate sucks.

I work nights so I have no life. The nice thing is, I don't care about either job (yeah I know I don't want to burn any bridges), so I try to do a good job, but I never feel any stress.

If you've never had a boss or co-worker come up to you and say something like, "You messed up," or "You're in big trouble," and looked back at them disinterestedly and said, "Uh huh..." or "Oh" I suggest you try it...it is one of the most empowering feelings in the world. The catch is you have to have a job you don't care about or need.

So my manager's always pointing out people that have been with the company for a long time and how I should be more like them. HA! I study them alright, because I want to figure out how NOT to end up at this place for another 3 months, let alone 15 years. Ouch 15 years, they aren't even real people anymore at that point.

OK so maybe it's what they want to do and hey, if it makes you happy good for you, but it's not what I studied for in school.

So in summary...it's nice not caring about anything, but it sucks not being able to go out...EVER. And I am very excited about this BS ending April 15 AT THE LATEST.
