It's Really Pathetic.....

When the bathroom at a gas station is cleaner than the bathroom at you work place.
Believe me, it's true. 7-11 bathrooms are cleaner than the bathroom at my work place. Oh...and there are several managers and engineers that don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom.

That really is sad. I was thinking maybe you have no cleaning people there, but, if several managers & engineers don't wash their hands, ew -- I don't want to know what really goes on in there. I think i'd just use the 7-11.

But how do you KNOW that someone does not wash their hands?
I know that this has been mentioned at my place of employement and I always wondered how the people who mentioned it would even know.
I mean, unless you go in right after they exit and there is no evidence of hand washing (wet sink, used paper towels, lack of soap?)how do you KNOW this?

I agree it is totally gross to not wash your hands after using the facility, passing all manner of bacteria and plague on to others.

But, really, how do you KNOW that folks are not washing their hands?

I just always wondered.

Because I've seen it. I'll be standing at the stall or washing my hands just as someone finishes "their business" and then theyll just walk straight out.

One time, I was at the sink washing my hands as another engineer finishes taking a dump...he opens the stall door and walks straight out. And in case anyone is wondering, there were no sinks in the stall he was using.

If you just pay attention to what other people are doing in the bathroom you'll notice who washes and for how long they wash. You'll even notice if they bother using soap.
