My wife will probably be fired tomorrow. Either that or she'll be putting in her two weeks, and then they'll fire her for her polite consideration. Why is she being fired?

Well, she worked her ass off for the past week. 65 hours in one week. And she's going to be blamed for not doing a perfect and flawless job on a project that was given 50% of the time that was actually needed to finish it. So, she'll be fired for doing her best. Doing her best on a project that management decided to start late, and then horribly mismanage every fucking step of the way. And the people that worked hardest will get fired for not doing the impossible.

And the owners of the company will give themselves raises because it's TOTALLY FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE that their managerial incompetence had ANYTHING to do with the fact that the project came out poorly. Sure, let's wait until two weeks before the project is due to get started on it! Let's make changes up until the last possible second! Changes that require reworking the entire thing from the start!

How many hours are you expected to work in one goddamn week? Do these people seriously think they can get away with asking people to work a 60+ hour week and then berating them for things that are ENTIRELY MANAGEMENT'S FAULT? Apparently so.

Every job is exactly the fucking same. Run by corrupt pieces of shit who blame others for their own pathetic failings. And those people will just get richer while anyone with sense, honor and competence will be kicked to the curb! Typical. Absolutely fucking typical. And we're all expected to put up with this shit? Day after day after day? Working to make some asshole richer, then getting blamed for their mistakes? Fucking bullshit. I could seriously go in there and just beat those fuckers into pulp for the sort of shit they put her through.

And you know, the best part is, no matter how much you show them they're wrong, they'll just fire you. They don't have to acknowledge it was their fault if they fire someone for it! HOW THE FUCK DO THESE PEOPLE EVEN SLEEP AT NIGHT? HOW CAN A PERSON BE SO UTTERLY FUCKING WORTHLESS AS TO THINK IT'S OK TO TREAT PEOPLE LIK THIS?

HOW IN THE FUCK DID WE COME TO THIS?

And it's only going to get worse in the future.
